Overview
Social Search Pro and Social Search (the "apps") help you search across multiple networks from one place. This policy explains what data the apps handle and how, and applies to both the free, ad-supported version and the paid, ad-free Pro version.
Search Queries
When you run a search, your query text is sent to a third-party web search provider to retrieve results scoped to each network's domain. We do not attach your identity, device ID, or account information to these requests beyond what the search provider itself requires to operate.
Data Stored On Your Device
Your recent searches and bookmarked results are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is never uploaded to us and is deleted if you uninstall the app or clear it from within the app.
No Account Required
The apps do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contact information through normal use.
Advertising (Free Version Only)
The free, ad-supported version of the app displays banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the IDFA) and usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to your iOS App Tracking Transparency choice. The Pro version contains no ads and no ad SDKs.
Third-Party Content
Tapping a result opens the original content on its source network in an in-app browser. That network's own privacy policy governs your interaction with that content once opened.
Children's Privacy
The apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as the apps evolve. Continued use of an app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
